The European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) Traditional High Ropes Instructor Course is a 5-day course designed to train aspiring instructors to operate a high ropes course safely and competently.

This course is run over 5 days and upon completion, will certify you to instruct Traditional High Ropes Courses with elements such as Jacob's Ladder, the Leap of Faith, Gladiator Challenge, Crate Stack, etc.
The ERCA Traditional High Ropes Instructor is an internationally recognized award. 

ERCA was formed by the German Ropes Course Association in 2003 due to their relationship growing with neighboring countries. ERCA has become a driving force for the ropes course industry since its formation and each year, pushes the industry's professional standards to even greater heights.

Valid First Aid Certificate including CPR and AED use (award validity according to national regulations) (Book Here)

Confident at Height

Good physical condition (able to partake on the RC program without difficulty)

At least 1 days prior experience on a High RC. This experience can be provided at the start of the training course.

The ERCA Traditional High Ropes Instructor Award is valid for 3 years from the time of completion.

 

Validation becomes suspended after 3 years unless a refresher course is completed. 

 

Refresher Courses are 1 day in length and will revalidate the Award for a further 3 years

 

**NOTE: If more than 4 years elapse from the date of assessment or 2 refresher courses, then the award will expire and the full course will have to be attended and completed to become re-validated.
